Shopmobility
Beckenham Shopmobility
is a scheme funded by the Big Lottery Fund, which lends manual wheelchairs and electric scooters to
members of the public with limited mobility to enable them to shop
and use the leisure and other facilities of the town centre.

Saturday 10.00am to 3.00pm

How can I become a member?
Just call into Lewis House to complete a registration form and bring
with you two forms of identification (one photographic
identification and one confirming your name and address). Our staff
are on hand to help.
You will be given training and once you feel
confident on your scooter, off you go. The whole process takes from
15 minutes to one one hour. There is a nominal annual fee to become

recommended to pre-book your wheelchair or scooter on the

Temporary Hire
You can hire a scooter or wheelchair. This service is subject to
availability.
