Respite Holiday Scheme
This service is funded by Social Services to
enable residents in the Borough with disabilities who could not
otherwise afford a holiday to get away for a respite break.
This beneficial service, whilst giving the client
a break, can give the carer an opportunity for a personal respite.
Holidays
are organised according to the clients'
wishes and needs, and range from funding own choice of venue, group
holidays and activity breaks, to those requiring higher levels of
care.
Holidays are not funded for those in residential
care in the Borough.
