Welcome to BATH
BATH
was formed in 1968 by a group of disabled
people. Initially as a pressure group we soon formed a loose alliance with other
key organisations in the London borough of Bromley such as Mencap, Scope and Age
Concern. Now employing a staff of twenty three, we provide accessible services
for older and disabled people. We continue to work with related organ
isations
and the London Borough of Bromley.
BATH
is a not-for-profit organisation providing
services to help meet the needs for older and disabled people. We offer a door-to-door transport service,
professional advice for living at home and short term break holiday scheme's.
Disability Consultancy Services
As a service to the business and public sectors
we have developed the Disability Consultancy Service, providing
Access Audits and Disability Awareness Training. As well as disabled
people, health and social care professionals, families
and carers are all invited to discover how our service will best
serve their needs.
Accessible Transport Scheme
Wheelchair accessible vehicles
with
experienced drivers available for journeys
to any UK destination. A charge per mile is made.
Respite Holidays
Short term break holidays for those not able to fund
themselves.

Independent Living Centre
Lewis House Independent Living Centre has been
designed to assist disabled people assess equipment and aids. Our Registered
Occupational Therapists can also give a professional assessment of individual
needs.
ShopMobility
Beckenham Shopmobility
is a scheme funded by the Big Lottery Fund, which lends manual wheelchairs and electric scooters to
members of the public with limited mobility to enable them to shop
and use the leisure and other facilities of the town centre.
